In order to move on to the next step in a certain area of life you gotta let go and forgive not only yourself but the situation or person that caused you the pain. Ephesians 4:31-32
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
